Black & Veatch: Natural Gas, Combined-Cycle Power Projects on the Rise

However, combined-cycle projects are expected to increase 3.1% per year through 2038, according to a report from engineering firm Black & Veatch (Overland Park, Kansas). Currently, Industrial Info is tracking 25 grassroot combined-cycle generation projects valued at more than $17 billion, and 32 combined-cycle generation plant additions, repowers or conversions, valued at more than $18 billion.
